so we have now reached that point where i'm near enough to a milestone that i now spam post until i reach that milestone (the 10k point).
i always tell myself to go back to update a post i leave hanging but i never do- it's legit just sit down and do it all in one sitting and be massively productive or just do nothing.

anyway,
since the last post i've been extremely occupied with university and other miscellaneous things and hobbies.
i actually worked on a cosplay based on the league of legends character ahri for a gaming event held in dublin over the last weekend. i normally don't find myself enjoying these events since i'm never really comfortable amidst a large number of people (considering i normally never know anyone, i'm not the biggest fan of the game and other reasons) but i honestly enjoyed myself at G-Series 7. it was so lovely seeing all the people i've met online for the first time as well as seeing other familiar faces out and about.
i also fetched myself 'swag' (yes, they really do consider random trinkets as swag), a tiny little poro plush, pretty sure it's a stress ball..granted i wasn't going to leave without one, ITS SO CUTEEE.
also for reference the ahri cosplay i did was snsd ahri/alternate popstar ahri.
i only got to wear to for like a few hours cause the fatigue from female menstruation makes me too tired to wear something like that all day. props to all the cosplay grills that slave through conventions while on their period. you da mvps.

i have come to terms with the fact that i will grow up and have no husband or children. in exchange i shall flaunt off my little sister as my pride and joy and the most annoying thing gifted to me in this god forsaken world.
she's actually growing up so quick. like, exponentially. IT WON'T STOPP.
anyways! what else do i need to update on? my life? what. i have a life? ah yes, this is a blog about my life. god, why is this even a thing, i don't have a life...but i do buy a lot of pointless things in compensation.
i needed to buy yellow contacts for my ahri cosplay and my little sister was doing a buld order for her lenses so we decided to order together.
a months shipping later we get this delivered over-
{i am going to do a proper review of the website we ordered from, along which a review of each individual pair of lenses we bought}
i couldn't actually take close enough photos of the lenses because my ears kept hitting against my camera and i was too tired to realize that i couldn't just taken off the ears to take a decent photo but no. i'll update again with a heap ton of lense reviews but for these ones, just as a skim- they're hella enlargening, very pigmented, drying point at 6hours-ish, fairly comfortable. personally i don't like lenses that enlarge too much but since i'm cosplaying a game character it suited it well. 8/10 would recommend.
anyway, i'm gonna end this post. i need to study for a test tomorrow which i unfortunately haven't started studying for {procrastination - 14, belle - 0} buuuuut mid-terms after tomorrow and i'm so hyped to do nothing for two weeks- honestly to god, i just want to lay down and hibernate for as long as i can.
