♡  the night circus

hello, hello there.
i haven't done a proper text post update in a super long while and mind, this isn't going to be one either but HEED NOT! THE AMOUNT OF AWESOMENESS I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU IS BEYOND AWESOMENESS IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD
{in my own standards 'course}

okay, so you may or may not recall my massive spazz last year on the book 'the night circus' by erin morgenstern {which ultimately deemed to be one of my favourite books, like, ever}{i've unprivated the post for you to recall but ps don't hate over the cringey-ness;
} anyway! remember the white version of the book that i picked up randomly {its fate} in some store with my friend?

this one to be exact.
well long story short my little sister had reading week in her school and asked for recommendations and it'd be an obvious sin if i didn't recommend the night circus so naturally i let her borrow it under extremely threatening conditions if she were to harm the book in any way. 'course that leads her to harm the book in every way and made me resent her endlessly for the next while- so she then felt bad and decided to e-mail morgenstern herself to ask if there were any white covered night circus' left out there for her to buy for me {which there wasn't. it's a pretty rare enough cover}. however, erin being the absolute goddess that she is then asked for my address so she can send something else over which lead to....

PERSONALLY ADDRESSED LETTER FROM THE ONE AND ONLY,
along with acrylic portraits she made for the book which are relatively difficult to find, a signed bookmark and two cute ticket cards to the night circus {which i particularly swooned over. SO DAINTY}.
you have no idea how much i squealed over these once they came into the mail but you can rest assured knowing that it was a fuck ton -HAPPY TEARS.
i've always yearned for an excuse to make a night circus based letter and now is just THE most IDEAL circumstance to make it under. i mean, to the author herself and i digress, she did leave her mailing address on the envelope so i would know that she'd be receiving it personally. in some kind of far away idealistic world she would receive my letter and find myself interesting enough to keep replying and then we'd essentially be 'pen-pals' but alas that is way too much to ask for {but would make my life eternally}. with regards, i'm too happy to have received this and too happy and grateful to have such a thoughtful sister
